Use of Bounce Commerce
This website uses services of Bounce Commerce GmbH, Lindenallee 39, 47608 Geldern, Germany (hereinafter "Bounce Commerce"), for the delivery of product recommendations.
When a page in which these services are integrated is called up, the requested URL, the referrer and the technically necessary HTTP headers are transmitted to Bounce Commerce. For technical reasons, the IP address of the terminal device is transmitted in the process. The IP address is used solely for the delivery of the request; it is not stored and is not used for profiling.
For the purpose of controlling display frequency, technically necessary information is stored in the browser's sessionStorage or localStorage for a period of three hours. This information is not transmitted to Bounce Commerce or to any third party.
If a data subject clicks on a recommendation, the recommendation clicked, the page on which it was delivered and the browser or device type used are stored. This processing is carried out for the purpose of optimising the delivery of recommendations per product and per device. The forwarding is effected via a tracking link of the respective affiliate network, which sets a cookie in the process. This occurs solely in the event of a click and not already upon the delivery of a recommendation.
Bounce Commerce does not itself set any cookies and does not create user profiles.
Processing takes place exclusively on servers located within the European Union. No transfer to third countries takes place.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR.

Technical Details
Bounce Commerce does not use cookies but stores data in the browser's localStorage. If your Consent Management Platform needs to whitelist the fields used, their names are:
- ba_expire
- ba_hash
- ba_redirect
Proxy Integration
Bounce Commerce also offers a proxy solution that is installed directly within the customer's infrastructure. In this case, all requests from website visitors are processed exclusively on the customer's servers. The proxy only retrieves data from Bounce Commerce using the customer's server IP address — no personal data of end users is transmitted to Bounce Commerce.
Since no personal data flows to Bounce Commerce in this scenario, there is no obligation to include Bounce Commerce in the privacy policy or to obtain consent for Bounce Commerce.
Note on tracking: With the proxy integration, tracking does not run through Bounce Commerce's servers. The connection to the respective affiliate network must therefore be arranged individually. In this case, Bounce Commerce can only use reduced data — exclusively the data that the affiliate network transmits to Bounce Commerce.
